Freight forwarder Montenegro: transport from Germany to Montenegro & back

Logisticoo brings part loads and full truckloads from all German economic regions to Montenegro — to Podgorica, the port of Bar and the coast, with a fixed-price quote in 30 minutes. Trade with Germany is driven by the tourism and construction boom on the Adriatic coast: hotel furnishings, building materials, kitchen and catering equipment for projects such as Porto Montenegro or Luštica Bay head south, while aluminium from Podgorica plus wine and agricultural products come back. As Montenegro is a third country, we schedule every trip with a clean customs lead: TIR carnet or T1 to the EU external border, proof of preference via EUR.1 under the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, import clearance in Podgorica or Bar. Routing runs either via Croatia (Zagreb–Split–Debeli Brijeg) or via Serbia through Belgrade and Dobrakovo — from Munich it is around 1,250 kilometres, from Hamburg about 1,900. For oversized loads and project logistics we additionally use the Bari–Bar RoRo connection. A dedicated dispatcher accompanies your shipment from the loading appointment to confirmed delivery, on request including the complete export process. We consolidate part loads with shipments to Serbia and Bosnia in our weekly Western Balkans groupage service, so even single pallets reach Podgorica economically — including shipment tracking right to the unloading point.

Routes & corridors

Two viable routes from Germany: via Slovenia/Croatia (A1 Zagreb–Split, coastal road towards Dubrovnik and the Debeli Brijeg border crossing) or via Serbia (Belgrade–Dobrakovo border, then the new Mateševo–Smokovac motorway section to Podgorica). For project cargo, additionally the Bari–Bar RoRo ferry.

Customs clearance

Montenegro is an EU candidate country but a third country: transit usually runs under a TIR carnet or with T1 to the EU external border, with import clearance in Podgorica, Bar or directly at the border. Under the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, goods of EU origin qualify for preferential treatment with a EUR.1 or declaration of origin.
