Logisticoo plans transports from Germany to Kazakhstan and back with an open mind on routing — northern route or Middle Corridor — and always with a clear cost commitment: a fixed-price quote within 30 minutes. Kazakhstan is Germany's most important economic partner in Central Asia: heading east we carry machinery and plant for mining and agriculture, vehicles, pharmaceuticals and electrical engineering products; in the opposite direction, crude oil and metals dominate the trade, while by truck the flows include ferroalloys and agricultural products. The routing question has been strategic since 2022: the northern route via Belarus and Russia remains viable for many product groups but requires a sanctions check on every line item, transit restrictions and often a trailer swap at the EU external border; the Middle Corridor via Turkey, Georgia and the Caspian ferry bypasses Russia entirely — with our country office in Turkey right on the corridor. Our dispatchers assess both options for every shipment in terms of compliance, transit time and cost, open the TIR carnet and coordinate the EAEU import with the consignee's broker. Central Asia takes experience — and we bring it. We also assess rail loadings via the New Silk Road as an alternative for heavy or schedule-tolerant consignments — what matters is what works best for your shipment, commercially and in regulatory terms.
Routes & corridors
Two options: the classic northern route via Poland, Belarus and Russia (E30/M1), which due to sanctions involves restrictions and frequently a trailer swap onto EAEU vehicles at the border, or the Middle Corridor via Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan with the Caspian ferry Baku–Aktau or Kuryk — politically robust, but schedule-dependent.
Customs clearance
Kazakhstan is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union: the EAEU customs code and external tariffs apply, with no EU preference. Transport runs with an EU export declaration and a TIR carnet; depending on the route, Belarusian-Russian transit requirements (northern route) or the multimodal handling of the Middle Corridor with the Caspian ferry come into play.

Frequently asked questions: transport Kazakhstan
How long does a transport from Germany to Kazakhstan take?
On the northern route via Belarus and Russia, allow 12–15 days to Astana or Almaty, including border and, where applicable, trailer-swap times. The Middle Corridor with the Caspian ferry takes 15–20 days and depends on the Baku–Aktau ferry departures.
How much does a truck to Kazakhstan cost?
As a rule of thumb, a full truckload Germany–Almaty (around 5,500 km on the northern route) comes to 6,500–9,000 €; via the Middle Corridor, depending on the ferry share, it tends towards the upper end. We consolidate groupage and part loads on both corridors. Fixed price within 30 minutes.
Which documents and checks does a Kazakhstan transport require?
Commercial invoice, packing list, CMR, EU export declaration and TIR carnet are standard; on the northern route, this is joined by a sanctions and dual-use check of every line item, which we perform before submitting a quote. Import is handled under the EAEU customs code via your consignee's broker — with no EU preference.
