Freight forwarder Moldova: transport from Germany to Moldova & back

Logisticoo runs regular part loads and full truckloads between Germany and the Republic of Moldova — with a fixed-price quote in 30 minutes and a dedicated dispatcher who also coordinates the customs paperwork. The trade relationship is closer than many assume: Germany ranks among Moldova's most important trading partners, German automotive suppliers have wiring harnesses manufactured in plants around Bălți and Cahul, and in the opposite direction wine, fruit juices, sunflower seeds and textiles come to Germany. Our trucks run from Bavaria and eastern Germany via Vienna, Budapest and Romania to the Albița/Leușeni border crossing and on to Chișinău — around 1,800 to 2,000 kilometres depending on the point of departure. Since Moldova joined the Common Transit Convention in 2022, transit under T1 runs far leaner than it used to with a TIR carnet, and under the DCFTA agreement goods of EU preferential origin are duty-free. We schedule full truckloads, part loads in consolidated services, and express direct runs with vans and 7.5-tonners — for example for urgent production parts destined for the wiring harness plants. On request we handle the complete export process: export declaration, EUR.1 or REX declaration, and advance coordination with the receiving customs office in Chișinău. Backloads from Moldova — such as wine and juices for German retailers — are actively factored into round trips, which noticeably lowers freight costs in both directions.

From southern and eastern Germany via Vienna, Budapest and the Romanian A1 (Arad–Sibiu) to the Albița/Leușeni border crossing, then on to Chișinău — 1,800 to 2,000 km depending on the point of departure. Alternatively northwards via Poland and Ukraine (only after assessment, given the situation).

Customs clearance

Moldova has been a member of the Common Transit Convention since 2022, so transit runs under T1 via NCTS instead of a TIR carnet. Thanks to the DCFTA Association Agreement, goods of EU preferential origin are duty-free upon presentation of a EUR.1 or a REX declaration of origin.
