Freight forwarder Tajikistan: transport from Germany to Tajikistan & back

Logisticoo organises transports between Germany and Tajikistan — as full truckloads under TIR carnet, as part loads in our Central Asia groupage service, or as air freight to Dushanbe, with a fixed-price quote within 30 minutes. Trade volumes are modest but real: German machinery, medical technology, agricultural equipment and plant components head into the mountainous country, while the return flow is dominated by aluminium from the TALCO smelter in Tursunzoda, along with cotton and textiles. The challenge lies in the journey itself: 5,500 to 6,500 kilometres, either via the northern route through Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan — only after sanctions and compliance screening, as it passes through Russia — or via the Middle Corridor through Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan with the Caspian ferry. Our planning team selects the route based on cargo, deadline and the legal situation, and factors ferry and border times in honestly. On the customs side, we run under TIR carnet through to import clearance in Dushanbe or Khujand; we prepare the certificate of origin and the complete set of commercial documents. For urgent spare parts, air freight via Frankfurt–Dubai/Istanbul to Dushanbe is the faster alternative. One planning note: in winter, mountain passes on the approach routes can be temporarily closed, which is why we communicate seasonal buffers openly instead of promising transit times nobody can keep.

Routes & corridors

Two viable routes: the northern route via Poland, Belarus/Russia and Kazakhstan through Uzbekistan to Dushanbe (only for non-sanctioned goods, after compliance screening), or the Middle Corridor via Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan with the Caspian ferry (Alat–Aktau/Turkmenbashi) and onward through Uzbekistan — 5,500 to 6,500 km either way.

Customs clearance

Tajikistan is a third country with no preferential agreement with the EU: shipments run under TIR carnet with import clearance in Dushanbe or Khujand, while on the export side an ATLAS export declaration, commercial invoice, packing list and chamber of commerce certificate of origin are standard. Given the transit routes, sanctions and dual-use screening before loading is mandatory.
